In Colorado Springs, a major meetings development is ready to open its doors. Luxury hotel The Broadmoor has unveiled Bartolin Hall, a premier, upscale mountain meeting space that will add 125,000 square feet to The Broadmoor’s convention center complex. The hotel is the only one in the U.S. with Forbes Five-Star and AAA Five Diamond designations to operate an onsite, fully owned convention center space.
Bartolin Hall comprises a 93,500-square-foot exhibit hall with six full loading docks, polished concrete floors and 25-foot ceilings—perfect for tradeshows—and 32 meeting rooms spread across two levels. And an 8,000-square-foot outdoor terrace can host receptions and other F&B functions.
The new hall’s first main event, which will be held in August 2021 (pending continued monitoring of safety guidelines), will be the Space Symposium, which The Broadmoor has hosted for many years.

“With the addition of this space, we’re able to focus more on those larger association conventions, corporate programs and tradeshows with an exhibit component,” said Curtis Robison, director of convention sales for The Broadmoor.
He added that the hotel’s convention complex also has the infrastructure, bandwidth and teams in place to host hybrid meetings.
“We really are the only venue in the state that can offer a true Colorado convention experience,” Robison said. “Our property and the convention center itself sit at the base of Cheyenne Mountain in Pikes Peak. So, your backdrop for your attendees when they’re exiting the general session or walking out onto the rotunda in Bartolin Hall is the Rocky Mountains. That’s very unique to our area.”
