San Francisco Travel has appointed Julie Van’t Hul as vice president of convention sales.
Van’t Hul will be responsible for collaborating with The City of San Francisco and The Moscone Center regarding major conventions and events in San Francisco.
She steps into the position with two decades of leadership positions within the hospitality industry. Having previously served at San Francisco Travel as the director of citywide accounts, Choose Chicago, Marriott, Kimpton and Starwood hotels.
“Julie has been instrumental in re-engaging and re-educating our convention clients about San Francisco in the wake of the pandemic,” said Nicole Rogers, executive vice president and chief sales officer at San Francisco Travel. “Her leadership and guidance have helped propel the city and San Francisco Travel forward over the past few years and have no doubt set her up for success as she takes on this vital leadership position within our organization.”
