The International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE) announced that Jason Ware has joined its executive team as vice president of events and experiences, effective March 1.
In this role, Ware is responsible for the overall planning and execution of all IAEE events. This includes fundraisers for the organizations and any IAEE-subsidiary-related events. He will also develop new programs and opportunities for IAEE’s annual meeting exhibition, Expo! Expo!, including programs for emerging technology companies and new global markets. Ware will also help strengthen IAEE’s industry partnerships and relationships in conjunction with the sales, marketing and membership teams and help develop new attendee acquisition strategies.
“Throughout his career, Jason has established strong relationships within the global exhibitions and events industry,” IAEE president and CEO Marsha Flanagan said in a press release. “He will bring fresh, creative ideas to his role while helping further IAEE’s mission. We are excited to have someone with his stellar reputation join our team and oversee our portfolio of events and experiences.”
Ware brings nearly 30 years of industry experience to IAEE, most recently serving as vice president of convention housing operations and contracting/sourcing for MCI USA. He also worked in New York City as the director of meetings for the Cardiovascular Research Foundation (CRF) and as director of meetings and exhibitions for the American Heart Association and the American Stroke Association in Dallas.
