Artesha Moore, president and CEO of Association Forum, was appointed to the Choose Chicago Board of Directors.

"Her deep understanding of association management and her vision for community engagement align perfectly with Choose Chicago's goals. We look forward to her contributions as we continue to promote Chicago as a premier destination for business and leisure."

Moore has been recognized as a Fellow of the American Society of Association Executives and is a proud Diversity Executive Leadership Program (DELP) Scholar, which points to her dedication to diversity, equity, and inclusion in the association industry.
"I am honored to join Choose Chicago's Board of Directors and contribute to the city's dynamic tourism and hospitality industry," Moore said in the statement. "Chicago is a world-class destination with a rich cultural heritage and endless opportunities for growth. I look forward to working with the board and stakeholders to further elevate Chicago's profile on the global stage."
Before taking over for previous president and CEO Michelle Mason, who left to head up ASAE, in February 2022, Moore was vice president, affiliation, engagement and membership of the American Geophysical Union.
