Located near the Gaslamp Quarter and steps away from the San Diego Bay sits the Westin San Diego Bayview, a 436-room property in downtown San Diego. The hotel recently underwent a $20 million renovation, making updates to its guest rooms and meeting spaces.
The guest rooms feature luxury plush beds, spacious bathrooms and views of either the city or waterfront. The property also features over 30,000 square feet of meeting space spread across 15 venues and can accommodate groups of up to 650. The event spaces also feature state-of-the-art amenities including high-speed Wi-Fi and AV equipment.
The Omni San Diego Hotel, also located in San Diego’s Gaslamp Quarter, announced the completion of its property-wide renovation in celebration of its 20th anniversary. Renovations include updates to the guest rooms, lobby, pool deck, restaurants and meeting spaces. The AAA Four-Diamond award-winning hotel is located close to landmarks like Petco Park, Seaport Village and the San Diego Convention Center.
The Omni San Diego offers 32,000 square feet of event space spread across 24 indoor and outdoor meeting areas, the largest of which is the 9,266-square-foot Grand Ballroom, able to accommodate up to 1,200 attendees. The ballroom also comes with state-of-the-art AV technology, high-speed Wi-Fi, catering, event management, hybrid meeting options and dedicated professional services to ensure seamless event execution.

Idaho
Idaho’s newest boutique hotel, Hotel Renegade, opened at the end of May in Idaho’s capital city, bringing 122 additional guest rooms and 5,100 square feet of event space to the Boise area.
The hotel has amenities such as a state-of-the-art fitness center, room service and in-house restaurants Baraboo Supper Club, The Highlander Rooftop Bar and Blue Collar Coffee Co.
Hotel Renegade also features 5,100 square feet of flexible event space, including seven private event rooms and the 2,760-square-foot rooftop Overland Ballroom, able to accommodate up to 179 attendees. The property also provides multiple amenities to help make planning events easier, including audio-visual capabilities, onsite catering and designated sales and event coordinators.
Meetings Today LIVE! West attendees will experience Hotel Renegade in August. The fully hosted-buyer event let attendees fully experience Hotel Renegade and some unique Boise spots like JUMP (Jack’s Urban Meeting Place), Treefort Music Hall and the Idaho State Capitol. Attendees also had the opportunity to go white water rafting or tour one of Boise’s several local wineries.

Oregon
The iconic hotel formerly known as The Riverhouse on Bend, Oregon, recently completed the largest renovation in the property’s history and rebranded as the Riverhouse Lodge. The updates extend to all 221 guest rooms, the onsite Currents Restaurant & Bar and the convention center.
The Riverhouse’s convention center features 41,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space, with a newly expanded Wedding Lawn and redesigned lobby and reception area. The conference center can accommodate up to 1,600 attendees and features a variety of spaces for any type of meeting or event.
The (Event) Floor is Lava
Situated on miles of ancient black lava fields and rugged, vermillion sandstone cliffs, the $2 billion, highly anticipated Black Desert Resort is poised to be the largest resort in the state of Utah, spanning over 600 acres. The Black Desert Resort will feature a Resort Center, Golf Village and Family Village, all of which will be fully completed in Q1 2025. The resort center is set to open in the fall and is in close proximity to Snow Canyon, Angel’s Landing and other nearby state parks in the Greater Zion region.
The resort will include 791 hotel rooms, more than 600 luxury residences, five dining options, a 15,000-square-foot spa and wellness center, a 1,000-plus-seat amphitheater arena and more. The resort will also be home to one of Utah’s largest golf courses, a 19-hole, 7,400-yard course carved through the lava beds that will be used for a PGA Tour championship event in the fall.
Black Desert Resort will also offer 45,000 square feet of indoor-outdoor meeting space spread across 18 meeting and event venues. The largest space can accommodate up to 1,200 attendees, with amenities such as wellness offerings, advanced technical support, a diverse selection of catering menus and expert event planning services.
