Kalahari Resorts Expands Convention Space in Poconos

Kalahari Resorts and Conventions doubled the size of its convention center offerings in the Pocono Mountains. The expansion, the second since the resort opened in 2015, adds 105,000 square feet to the convention center, bringing the total to 205,000 square feet.

Also included in the project are:

  • 18 new meeting rooms for a total of 33 meeting spaces.
  • 38,000 square-foot new main ballroom and exhibit space, in addition to the current 25,000 square-foot ballroom.
  • 12,000 square-foot new junior ballroom of in addition to the current 9,000 square-foot junior ballroom.
  • Executive Conference Center for up to 400 guests.
  • New prefunction spaces
  • Enhanced load in and load out capabilities

The resort offers 977 guest rooms, including two- and three-bedroom suites. The property has multiple food and beverage outlets and a 220,000-square-foot indoor waterpark, which is claims is the largest in the U.S.
