The Hawaii Convention Center, located here, promoted several of its staff members.
Randall Tanaka, former director of business development and industry relations, was promoted to the position of assistant general manager of the convention center.
The convention center also promoted Michael Polovcin, formerly director of operations, to the position of senior director of operations and capital improvements.
In addition, June Matsumoto, formerly associate director of sales, was promoted to the position of director of international sales.
