The Barefoot Resort, located here, plans to expand its meeting space with two new facilities.
Construction is under way on a new 5,000-square-foot event tent, with an opening date set for this spring. Ground is expected to be broken this year on the new Lakeside Conference Facility, a property that will feature more than 17,000 square feet of meeting space.
A timeline for the conference facility has yet to be established.
