The Peaks Resort & Golden Door Spa, located here, plans to begin a $60 million guest room upgrade this spring.
The facelift will transform the 177-room property into a condo-hotel facility and is slated to finish in December.
The hotel is home to 6,000 square feet of meeting space and is adjacent to the Telluride Conference Center, a facility that houses 11,000 square feet of function space.
