Discussions are in the works for the construction of hotel and two water parks to be built next to the Sevierville Events Center.
The hotel, slated to break ground in April and open in early 2008, will be connected to the center and include 236 guest units and a 20,000-square-foot indoor water park.
In addition, plans are also in the works for the construction of a condo/water park facility to be located across the street from the Sevierville Events Center. The property, scheduled to open in fall 2008, will house 233 condos and a 55,000-square-foot water park.
