Starwood Hotels & Resorts plans to open three hotels as part of the Memorial City Project, a mixed-use development in west Houston, Texas.
The three hotels include The Westin Houston, Memorial City; The Sheraton Houston, Memorial City and The Four Points by Sheraton Houston, Memorial City.
Construction is expected to begin this summer on the new Westin and Sheraton.
The Westin is slated to house 250 guest rooms and 65 residential units. An opening date has not been set for the property.
The Sheraton, to be connected to the existing Baseball USA, is expected to debut in early 2009 with 155 guest rooms.
Starwood plans to initiate renovations to the existing Radisson Suite Hotel Houston West and reflag it a Four Points by Sheraton this summer.
