Callahan-Giobbi to Head MPI Foundation

Katie Callahan-Giobbi is leaving LA Inc. the Los Angeles Convention and Visitors Bureau to join MPI as its new executive vice president, MPI Foundation and strategic partnerships.

In her new position, Callahan-Giobbi will oversee the MPI Foundation as well as the association’s publication sales and partnership marketing efforts.

Gabri, chair of the MPI Foundation Board of Trustees. "Katie's an experienced, energetic, entrepreneurial leader who is widely respected and will make a real contribution to the development and achievement of the MPI Foundation going forward, as well as impact other MPI client and partner relationships during this time of global growth."

Callahan-Giobbi previously worked as senior vice president of sales for LA Inc. the Los Angeles Convention and Visitors Bureau, and has also been active in MPI, serving as the chair of the association’s presidential selection committee, which appointed MPI’s new president and CEO, Bruce M. MacMillan.
