Joseph R. Kane Jr., CHA, president of the Wyndham Hotel Group and Days Inns Worldwide, plans to retire at the end of February.
According to Wyndham, Kane plans to spend his newfound free time with his family.
Kane will be succeeded by Ken Greene, currently the president of the Howard Johnson and Travelodge hotel brands.
