Construction is in the works on an $8 million expansion of The Monterey Hotel.
The project, scheduled to conclude in early 2008, will include an additional 45 guest rooms, a 1,500-square-foot fitness facility and 454 square feet of meeting space.
The resort houses 45 guest rooms and 976 square feet of function space.
