Westin Slated for Indianapolis Airport

Plans are in the works for the construction of a new Westin hotel connected to the Indianapolis International Airport.

According to press reports, Mansur Real Estate Services won the bid to build the new facility, which will be connected to the airport’s new midfield terminal, slated to open in late 2008.

The 120,000-square-foot hotel is expected to cost between $50 million and $60 million and include 250 guest rooms, as well as meeting rooms and an indoor pool.

A timeline for the construction of the hotel has yet to be established.
