New Haven CVB Head Resigns

Steven Paganelli, president and CEO of the Greater New Haven CVB, resigned, effective May 18.

Paganelli served as the bureau’s leader for the past two years and previously worked at Connecticut’s Coastal Fairfield County CVB.

He plans to leave the bureau to work for TIG Global in Washington, D.C., starting May 21, helping to expand the company’s client base among destination marketing organizations.

“I feel very mixed [about my departure],” Paganelli said. “This new opportunity is very exciting and with 13 years of tourism in Connecticut, I’ve had some great experiences. There is still so much opportunity within this state as a meetings destination and as a tourism destination.”

Ginny Kozlowski, the bureau’s vice president, will take over as interim president following Paganelli’s departure. The bureau plans to name a new CVB head by the end of the summer.
