Construction began June 19 on the 87-acre Echelon Resort Las Vegas.
The development is slated to contain 5,300 guest rooms spread out between five hotels: Hotel Echelon, Suites at Echelon, Shangri-La Las Vegas, Mondrian Las Vegas, and Delano Las Vegas, as well as 30 dining and nightlife venues and 200,000 square feet of pools and gardens.
In addition, the resort will offer groups 750,000 square feet of meeting space, several entertainment venues, 140,000 square feet of casino space, and 300,000 square feet of retail space.
Echelon Resort Las Vegas is slated to open in 2010.
