AirTran Airways, a subsidiary of AirTran Holdings, plans to expand its service between Atlanta and San Diego and initiate flights between San Diego and Orlando.
Beginning July 9, the low-cost carrier will tack on two additional flights to its schedule from Atlanta’s William B. Hartsfield International Airport to San Diego-Lindbergh Field Airport (SAN).
In addition, AirTran plans to begin nonstop service between SAN and Orlando International Airport June 29.
