The Lee County Visitor & Convention Bureau (LCVCB) appointed Suya Davenport as its executive director, effective June 28.
The appointment is a homecoming for Davenport, who started her career in hospitality with the VCB, working as a sales manager for the bureau from 1989 to 1992.
Davenport most recently worked for LXR Resorts as corporate director, strategic partnerships.
