Pinehurst, a luxury resort located here, plans to expand its meeting space and renovate some of its rooms.
The hotel plans to add 3,000 square feet of meeting space to its already-existing 55,000 square feet of space, and this spring expects to complete upgrading its Carolina Hotel rooms.
