Runzheimer International, a consulting firm specializing in travel management information and technology, predicts travel costs will rise slightly in 2008.
According to Runzheimer’s 2008 Business Travel Forecast, car rental costs will rise an average of 4.5 percent over 2007.
Airfares are expected to rise a relatively low 5 percent due to pricing pressures from low-cost air carriers.
Lodging costs are predicted to rise 5 percent.
