The Blackstone Group and Hilton Hotels appointed Christopher J. Nassetta president and CEO of Hilton, replacing Matthew J. Hart.
The management switch comes only days after Blackstone completed the purchase of Hilton for $26 billion.
Nassetta comes to Hilton from leading Host Hotels and Resorts.
There are no plans to sell any of Hilton’s existing brands or major assets as part of the acquisition, according to Blackstone.
