Jacksonville CVB Unveils New Name

Jacksonville & the Beaches CVB officially rebranded itself Visit Jacksonville at its annual Destination Outlook meeting, held Nov. 7 at the Prime F. Osborn III Convention Center here.

“The strategy surrounding the change to Visit Jacksonville is extremely customer-centric and showcases our destination’s hospitality and energy,” said Visit Jacksonville President and CEO John Reyes. “Our old name created confusion among our customers and within the community. Frankly, it was too bureaucratic for what we are trying to accomplish which is bringing visitors to Jacksonville.”

The CVB also unveiled a new logo and announced it will soon roll out a “Best of Florida” advertising campaign, and also plans to launch a new interactive website in January.
