Construction is scheduled to begin in 2008 on the 25-acre Hickory Creek Resort and Indoor Water Park here.
The resort is expected to open in late 2009 with a 105-unit hotel, a 120-room extended stay hotel, 40,000-square-foot indoor waterpark, meeting space for small-to-midsized groups, several dining outlets, four sports fields, an 80,000-square-foot sports academy, and 94,500 square feet of commercial space.
