The Connecticut Grand Hotel and Conference Center, located here, was reflagged a Holiday Inn Dec. 18.
Construction is under way at the hotel on a new waterpark, scheduled to open in October 2008.
The 282-room hotel offers 38,793 square feet of meeting space.
