The Reno-Sparks Convention Center finished its west plaza expansion Feb. 28.
The $2.37 million project refurbished its Virginia Street entrance, added a new parking area and enhanced its lighting, and updated its disabled ramp area.
Additional improvements are in the works at the convention center, including the construction of a sky bridge. The bridge, which will connect the center to the Atlantis Casino Resort Spa, is expected to finish by the end of the year.
The Reno-Sparks Convention Center offers 500,000 square feet of function space.
