Spurgeon Richardson, president and CEO of the Atlanta CVB, plans to retire at the end of the year.
Richardson has led the CVB for the past 17 years. After stepping down, he said he plans to spend time with his family and travel.
Michael Robison, CEO of Lanier Parking Co., and a former member of the bureau’s board, will chair a search committee to find Richardson’s successor.
