Meet Minneapolis named Melvin Tennant its new president and CEO, effective April 23.
Tennant has been serving as the bureau’s interim leader since November 2007, after former President and CEO Greg Ortale accepted the position of CEO of the Greater Houston CVB.
Tennant brings more than 25 years of experience to his new role in Minneapolis. He has held positions including associate director of sales for the Houston CVB, executive director of the San Antonio CVB, and CEO of the Oakland [Calif.] CVB and Visit Charlotte.
