The Hawaii Visitors & Convention Bureau as appointed Meredith Parkins to serve as regional sales director in the greater Washington, D.C., area.
Parkins, who held the same position from 2001 to 2005, is the point person for meetings sales activities in the region.
The HVCB also hired Josette Murai, a 17-year industry veteran, to serve as its Hawaii-based convention services manager in the corporate meetings and incentives division.
