Citi Field, the new stadium where the New York Mets will begin playing in 2009, will be available for meetings, announced Metropolitan Hospitality, a venture that will create a year-round hospitality destination for non-game-day events at the stadium.
The baseball park will offer more than 60,000 square feet of meeting and event space, beginning in 2009. Citi Field is being built in the borough of Queens to replace the adjacent Shea Stadium.
