Wort Hotel Gets Facelift

A businessman from Knoxville, Tenn., has renovated a 1940s-era hotel here. The Wort Hotel, named after the Wort brothers who built it in 1941, caught the eye of Bill Baxter every time he would visit the area.

Guest rooms were remodeled to include new furniture, flat-screen televisions, Western art and bedding. A stuffed grizzly bear will now greet guests in the lobby. Five suites are also a part of the mix at the new Wort.

The restaurant was redone and conference rooms were added. The bar was expanded for live entertainment and dancing.
