Joie de Vivre Hospitality announced today that Laguna Beach’s only downtown oceanfront hotel, Vacation Village, has a new name, Pacific Edge Hotel on Laguna Beach.
“The name Vacation Village sends a different message to someone hosting a meeting,” Colby Durnin, Joie de Vivre’s asset manager, told Meetings Media.
“With our property upgrades, we are making significant efforts to educate the business community on this Laguna Beach meetings gem. The name change to Pacific Edge Hotel on Laguna Beach is slight, but one we hope will make a difference in the minds of planners,” Durnin said.
The facility offers more than 4,000 square feet of meeting space. Arrangements to accommodate larger groups off-site have also been made through a strategic partnership with the Ocean Institute in nearby Dana Point.
