GFI Development Company announced plans for a new luxury property named The NoMad Hotel in Manhattan.
The renovated hotel will seek LEED certification. NoMad stands for ‘North of Madison Avenue,’ as the property is located in the Madison Square North Historic District.
Meeting and event spaces including a Townhouse meeting room, a luxury penthouse suite with views of the Empire State Building and a roof terrace with a garden. A gym with Turkish steam baths is also part of the mix. The opening is slated for fall 2009.
