Banyan Tree Hotels and Resorts, an Asian hospitality group, is bringing its first two properties to North America with two resorts in Mexico.
The properties are Banyan Tree Mayakoba in Playa del Carmen, debuting in February 2009, and Banyan Tree Cado Marques in Acapulco, opening in June 2009.
