Palace Resorts launched a green initiative its 11 luxury resorts in Mexico.
The company formed an environmental committee, which will seek to prevent pollution and minimize environmental impact at the resorts the firm owns in Cancun, the Riviera Maya, Cozumel, Riviera Nayarit and Punta Cana.
Among Palace Resorts green and charitable efforts is its practice of donating unused food at its restaurants to local food banks and shelters.
