Javier Cano was named general manager of The Ritz-Carlton, Los Angeles, located in the L.A. Live entertainment complex.
In addition to heading up management at the 123-room property, Cano will also oversee Ritz-Carlton’s 224 private condominiums and the 878-room J.W. Marriott Hotel, which will serve as The Los Angeles Convention Center’s headquarters hotel. The 123-room Ritz-Carlton is slated to open in 2010.
Cano previously served as general manager for The Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua, a resort on the Hawaiian island of Maui.
