Sheraton Denver Downtown is undergoing a $70 million renovation, with completion scheduled by mid-2009.
Improvements will include upgrades to its guest rooms, suites and lobby. A new and health and fitness program will also be introduced.
The hotel, reportedly the state’s largest, is located blocks from the recently expanded Colorado Convention Center. The hotel boasts 1,225 guest rooms and 133,000 square feet of meeting space. The Plaza building portion of the hotel, including much of the property’s meeting space, is closed for renovations until spring 2009.
