Phase II of L.A. Live, a $2.5 billion entertainment complex located next to the Staples Center, is open.
Joining the Nokia Theatre and Nokia Plaza, which made their debuts last fall, are a number of enticing clubs, restaurants and entertainment venues including Club Nokia, Lucky Strike Lanes and Lounge, the Conga Room, The Farm of Beverly Hills, Yard House and the ESPN Zone, where the cable network’s popular program, Sportscenter, will be filmed.
The Grammy Museum is also a part of the entertainment district that has been dubbed a West Coast version of New York’s Times Square.
In early 2010, two hotels at the project, the JW Marriott Hotel at L.A. Live and The Ritz-Carlton, Los Angeles, are scheduled to open.
