Dawn Benedict was appointed director of group sales for the new Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain, which will debut here this fall.
Benedict has 23 years of sales experience in the hospitality industry, and most recently served as a senior sales manager, Northeast region, at The Ritz-Carlton, Sarasota.
The Sonora Desert resort will include 250 rooms and three ballrooms, which total 16,100 square feet. Five individual meeting rooms, a Jack Nicklaus-designed golf course and a spa round out the offerings at the $500 million property.
