Facelift Planned at Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay [Md.]

The 400-room Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay Resort launched a $7 million renovation that is scheduled to be complete this April.

Upgrades will include improvements to guest rooms, meeting space, the lobby and dining areas. The resort will be fully operational during the renovation. The hotel’s two ballrooms, which total more than 15,000 square feet of space, will get a new look.

Amenities include an 18,000-square-foot spa and the Blue Heron Wildlife Rookery, a preserved area of vegetation and animals indigenous to the Chesapeake Bay area.
