The Richmond Marriott here is undergoing a $14 million renovation, which is expected to be completed this September.
The downtown hotel’s overhaul includes a refurbishing of the hotel’s 400-plus rooms and turning the lobby into a Marriott Great Room. A new restaurant and bar is part of the renovation effort. The property includes 30,000 square feet of meeting space.
