Boutique Hotel Planned in D.C.

A luxury 50-room boutique hotel is planned in Georgetown, the Washington Business Journal reported.

The yet-to-be-named property would be located in the former headquarters of the American Trial Lawyers Association. Georgetown is already home to several high-end hotels, including a Four Seasons, Ritz-Carlton and St. Gregory Luxury Hotel & Suite. The new property could open in 2011.

The name of the hotel operator was not disclosed.

“The hotel concept we’re looking at is unlike anything currently in D.C.,” said Stylianos Christofides, a partner in the joint venture of Castleton Holdings and ICG Properties, which owns the property.
