Sheraton Phoenix Plants Fourth-Floor Garden

The Sheraton Phoenix Downtown Hotel planted a large garden on the fourth-floor deck of the 31-floor hotel, as part of efforts to become more energy efficient.

The seasonal rooftop garden includes chilies, okra, peppers and a variety of herbs which will be incorporated into dishes served in the hotel’s District American Kitchen and Wine Bar.

A comprehensive banquet recycling program, a new water filtration system and the creation of an internal “Green Team” are other eco-friendly initiatives at the hotel.
