The Ritz-Carlton, Charlotte, the firm’s first hotel built for LEED certification, will open Oct. 1.
The 146-room property is seeking LEED Gold certification, and it will include a 13,000-square-foot Wellness Center, street-side BLT Steak restaurant and more than 12,000 square-feet of meeting and conference space.
Eco-friendly features of the hotel include a green roof, an energy-efficient water purification and container system, a bike valet and other green elements.
