Columbia University Venue Gets Facelift, Names GM

The Faculty House of Columbia University will reopen next week following the completion of an extensive renovation.

During the 18-month renovation, the facility’s 38,000 square feet of event space received extensive tech upgrades. Nearly 75 percent of the materials from the original structure were refurbished, repurposed, recycled or donated during the renovation.

Additionally, David Martin was named general manager of Faculty House. He is responsible for managing the operations of the facility and its staff. Martin formerly served as the director of food and beverage at the Parker Meridien Hotel in New York.
