HelmsBriscoe, a leader of independent site selection and RFP services for the meetings industry, announced that it will begin to directly license its brand outside of North America beginning May 6, 2010.
This direct model for developing its distribution outside of the U.S., Canada and Mexico will replace an existing master license agreement.
“The time is right for HelmsBriscoe to assume direct responsibility for our independent associates and customers,” said HelmsBriscoe Founder and CEO Roger Helms. "Managing our worldwide growth directly, rather than through a master licensing model, is vital for establishing brand consistency in approach and service.”
Helms added that during the transition, the company does not anticipate any disruption in bookings, customer service levels or market influence.
