Vancouver’s BC Place Stadium will get a new retractable roof by summer 2011.
The $458 million roof will be the largest cable-supported, retractable fabric roof in the world, being able to be opened or closed in just 20 minutes. The stadium is the venue for the Opening and Closing Ceremonies for the 2010 Olympic Winter Games.
