The Acapulco International Convention Center has closed temporarily for an extensive renovation.
The property will temporarily reopen in April of 2010 to host Tiangus Turistico.
“The relaunch of the Acapulco Convention Center will further promote the ‘new’ Acapulco and reposition the Golden Zone as a contemporary and modern destination,” said C. Ernesto Rodriguez Escalona, Secretary of Tourism Development.
The exact date of the completion of the remodeling was not released.
