The Minneapolis Convention Center is undergoing a renovation of its concession areas.
The upgrades are expected to be complete sometime in January of 2010, according to Melvin Tennant, president and CEO of Meet Minneapolis.
The property includes 475,000 square feet of exhibition space and 87 meeting rooms. Those specs include a 50,000-square-foot ballroom. The convention center is connected to the Hilton Minneapolis.
