The Ritz-Carlton Highlands, Lake Tahoe officially opened its doors.
The $300 million resort features 170 rooms and suites, a ski concierge and a 17,000-square-foot spa. The property also offers ski-in/ski-out access. It is seeking LEED certification.
The hotel includes more than 15,000 square feet of meeting space.
